Description:	In an effort to reduce the paper stream and increase accessibility, the summary of public comments has been provided on this Web site. The summary consists of the comments received at the two landowner meetings, four public meetings, and via e-mail and mail. The Environmental Impact Report scoping period for the Altadena Crest Trail extended from August 21, 2006 to September 21, 2006. In response to the high level of interest displayed at the scoping meetings, the County is extending the scoping period to October 30, 2006. It is important to note, however, that the close of the scoping period does not preclude the community from providing further comments beyond October 30, 2006. A copy of all comments received is in the administrative record and is available for public review by appointment.
